Day 14 of the 31 Days of Halloween

Are you having as much fun as we are participating in the 31 Days of Halloween event hosted by Smeared Ink?  Go by their blog and check out the rules and prize info and make sure to go to the blogs listed on the side bar and see what lovelies they have prepared for you today and everyday this month!

CT Nan has been up to no good again and is back with a Grunge Book.

This little book is 2 inches by 2 inches!  I saw a YouTube video by Rach0113 making one of these and was intrigued.  The skull on the front and back is the "Skull with Wings" from my Altered Tin Book from day one used again without his wings and he is from Lost Coast Designs.

This book consists of three 4 x 4 inch squares soaked in a mash up of Distress Inks and then folded very simply but being able to then be folded down to a pop up sized 2 x 2!  The ribbon that holds it together is put between the back cover and the last page.

Here it is unfolded.  The grunge name comes from I am guessing the distressed inking and the front covers are crumpled up and then the wrinkles inked and then ironed to put on the book covers.

I used the "Skull with Wings" from Lost Coast Designs and the "Dancing Skeletons" along with various stamping with the "Mini Skulls" , "Crow and Skull Borders" and a music stamp from Michael's bargain bin.

When folded back up it magically is 2 x 2 again!

Good news!  We drew a name from the comments yesterday, but the catch is if we drew your name you must have commented the following day as well....you know us, had to make it complicated!  We have a winner!  Congrats, Carol, please email us at dreamindarknessblog@gmail.com to claim your prize. Which is .....
This awesome angel is  from Smeared Ink from the rubber sheet  called "Letterbox Backgrounds" that had all ATC sized stamps. So thanks for commenting everyday not just two in a row required to win, Carol!

Keep those entries coming in..Evil Froggy must be appeased!
