You can't tell?
I'm not sure either, largely due to the weird date stamp of Andy Skinner. According to his stamps, the book has been borrowed by Mr O'Neil, T Rope, and various other weirdly-named personages, including Mr Two Balloons - perhaps Monck Mason's alias? Carabelle's creation et reve secret set gave me both the book title on the card, and the pointing hand. Leigh SB Designs provided the only digi stamp: Poe I printed out, then smeared with interference paints for that subtle "je ne sais quoi" !
Keep hopping through the Poe blog hop:
At one time( in my dark and distant past) my home looked more like a Library than the local library...and I was known to own more books than the local schools lol I could have used some of these tickets and pockets to be sure of getting them all back :D XXX
ReplyDeleteAlas, my Library lacks sufficient shelving now. And I wish I'd kept the old cards, catalogue cards etc, even used-up date stamp pages, when I had access to them.
DeleteFantastic - love this :-) x
ReplyDeleteSuper cool and kind of eerie. Love it! xxD
ReplyDeleteI too am..was a Librarian, Love my books! Thought about getting a Kindle but decided not too. Love your project for today! x

ReplyDeleteOops! I hit enter too quickly.
ReplyDeleteWe've been using library supplies in our art work and catalogs since we started in 1997!
My Mom was a school librarian and I was a volunteer helping her get books readied for filing. I still love books just as much as back then.
It's so exciting to me that people are still using them and even in more artistic and clever ways.
Everything is just so clever on this website-always something new and great ideas. Thank you.
Thanks Annie - I actually can't remember whether I got the card & pockets from Silver Crow Creations or elsewhere.
DeleteLove your make - and your ramblings!!
ReplyDeleteI have an inbuilt GPS - ramble where I will, I can always hear the fridge door opening - or the bbq sizzling dinner!
